Who is RISI Locks?

Bryan Risi is the owner of RISI Locks cc and is based in Johannesburg, South Africa. RISI Locks has supplied the public and private sectors in South Africa for the past 25 years and has the reputation where customer satisfaction is key. In 2012, Bryan's daughter, Sherene joined the business and together the company has expanded its range of services to include customized one of a kind designs that assure maximum protection and to eliminate the risk of duplication.

Over the course of his 25 year career Bryan's managerial acumen and engineering think tank capacity have allowed his professional work to develop and flourish. His success is also a result of his hard work and industry knowledge.

The Risi Lock is a South African trade marked and one of many patented anti-theft lock and mechanism arrangements owned by Bryan. The design is simple and easy to install, and consist of a formidable tamper proof barrier to anyone without its unique key. Products can be designed and uniquely manufactured for customer usage only, whereby the customer's unique key suits their application.

We have two methods of manufacturing which are CNC machining or die casting. After manufacturing, locks are individually checked to guarantee consistent quality. Our products are constantly evolving to keep the pace with the latest trends and demands. There has been continuous research and development over the years with regards to alterations and size of mechanism to suit each customer's requirements.

Southern Africa's biggest electricity supplier, Eskom, is one of Risi Locks main customers and they have provided us with a vendor number making our product a countrywide standard.

In the Geneva patent office, we recieved an A1 rating for uniqueness as being a world first in design.
